Hey there,

this is a new beginning for me. I've had online blogs for a couple of years now, changing from open to everybody to very much private. I guess everybody needs some alone time now and then. However, I feel comfortable and thrilled again to meet new people with similar interests! And nice people in general, of course.

So, here are some facts about me:

I'm a 24-year-old German girl and go to university where I major in English and German Literature. Which is very convenient because I love books and very much so. I like the classics and contemporary litery fiction of my respective languages but in my spare time I prefer fantasy novels and mysteries. Some of my last year's favourite authors are Jonathan Safran Foer, Mohsin Hamid and Charlaine Harris. Closely connected to my love for books is my passion for writing and stories in general, written or unwritten. I also love music and I listen to bands which most people probably call mainstream pop and rock. My tastes vary, though.

I'm currently juggling my studies and my first real job together and I feel very much exhausted every day I come home. However, no matter how stressful my day has been, my friends always make my day. We meet for our local gospel choir practice, some stupid television shows, movies, coffee, pizza, and playing Wii or other fun stuff. Another great part of my life is kundalini yoga which has been teaching me for 1,5 years now how to sing and to take proper care of my mental well-being.
