(no subject)

Okay, it's late. My bad conscience tells me I should better write this entry on the weekend or whenever, because sleeping before midnight is awesome. However, it feels like this won't be much of interest later on, but I definitely want to say it, so I'll say it now!

Today was a lovely day.

I felt good (knock, knock, knock on wood, my cystitis seems to be gone), I looked pretty, and I was in high spirits. At work (10am), my collegue and I were able to get a lot of things done together. Then (11.52am), I literally ran into my boss which was funny beyond words, because people saw. Afterwards (12pm), I learnt some more words in Tok Pisin. 'Hair' is always 'gras'. So, make a guess - what does 'maus gras' and 'ai gras' mean? In the lecture afterwards (2pm), which is boring and mostly irrelevant for my studies, I didn't pay much attention, but read some more pages for the seminar on cultural pessimism afterwards (4pm). There, we had a blast. (And maybe this seminar and our reading assignments of the last weeks does deserve a seperate entry some time soon). Then (6pm), I went to the liberary to copy some more food for my brain, yum yum. And around 8pm, finally, I met my friends on the Christmas market to have some hot spiced wine.

This was truely one of the nicest days I've had since the beginning of October. And that's how I remember my life from a few months back - it was packed, but I loved every minute of it. Looks like I'm getting better after all this ruckus of the last two months, both good and bad. Many things are settling in, some still need more time, but I think Im' doing better now than I did just one week ago.

Man, life. You are both scary and awesome at the same time. I won't complain, I can handle scary. As long as you don't cease to be awesome, okay? ♥
